There were times things used to be simple

There were times we laugh and cry easily

There were times we do not have to worry

There were times we do not care anything but dream

We start worrying about career

Slowly we care nothing but our own problems

Slowly we got envy of what others have

Slowly we do not share with others what we have

Slowly we forgot our dreams being hooked by reality

Slowly we become selfish and ignorant

Slowly we become the slaves of this world

Slowly we head to the path of destruction

But… hope is always around to salvage us

We have the urge to be good

We have the urge to repent

God gives us hope
